thank you so much for your support. I appreciate it a lot. I have prepared the first bunch of perfume empties from 2024 for you. You know I do not take perfume purchases lightly and I am committed to use up my beloved fragrance bottles. If I seriously do not like a scent, I either return it or re-sell it as soon as possible. The most of my perfumes I am using and enjoying my life with them. Fragrance makes makes me feel alive!

Musk Maliki: From The Garden To Your Living Room

Al Haramain is based in Saudi Arabia and makes fragrances for men and women. The scents are rich and opulent yet due to moderate prices available to wider audiences.

Musk Maliki claims to be 100% natural. You can expect a sharp citrus outburst, right in your face. It is not a sweet rounded feminine citrus that you get in Trussardi Donna but rather a fresh-spicy aromatic top with a masculine undertone. You definitely get a lot of lemon, violet, leaves and geranium at first but when the scent sits on your skin, it changes into a comfortable fluffy aura. I like this change because the opening could be almost too much for a genderless scent.

This violet dominant fragrance is unique to my collection. I do not have many violet perfumes to start with, but it is a note that is slowly growing on me. Musk Maliki fits spring and summer perfectly and remains strong throughout. It is a pleasant surprise if you are looking for an aromatic musky unisex aroma.

Al Haramain Perfumes is concentrated its business on oriental strong perfumes for men and women. L’Adventure Femme is marketed towards women but could clearly be considered unisex in Europe.

L’Aventure Femme has a prominent yummy fruity top. You will be showered with pineapple, blackcurrant, wild berries, bergamot but do not let the sweet and tart fruits fool you. This is a potent fragrance with big P. Soon, it turns into heavy, sharp cedar and musk; and from here, we go only downhill. The dry down is scratchy, extremely long-lasting, there is no way of escape. The base ruined it for me again.

I must admit though, it is interesting to see the development of niche scents. It hardly ever stays the same. For me to be head over heels for a perfume I need to love it from start to finish. It is a journey.
