Princess Vera Wang

Princess is a soft, sweet, fruity scent. I got compliments on this vanilla fragrance. It’s not bad but based on the sample I’ve tried, I wouldn’t buy it. I am just not that into it and certainly, I couldn’t detect it on anyone else.

However, if you’re not really a “perfume person” but still want to wear something slightly sweet and delicate, Princess will be nice company. Or if you don’t know which present to buy a teenage niece or daughter, she will be happy to get princess, I can guarantee that.

Refreshing, fine and sweet. Anytime when the girls want to have fun. 40/100

How did I come across Vera Wang’s fragrance? Well, I knew that her perfume Princess was getting extremely popular among young girls and I was sort of looking where it all started. I wanted to get to know her first original fragrance because there is always something about the first piece.

My first impression was flowers, lily in particular which I  love. I could also sniff a hint of citrus in it. The perfume was somewhat floral fresh. Later, the scent got heavier, I started to feel something quite old-fashioned. I got to the point where I couldn’t decide whether it’s a modern or vintage scent. The strange combo didn’t work for me.

I mean it’s definitely an easily wearable perfume during day time. The question is: Would anyone be impressed by the scent? I don’t think so.
