I am crazy about Victoria’s Secret fragrances, I cannot help it. They are super fun and lighthearted and sometimes you can snatch a good deal if you are not after the new releases. Very Sexy and Pink Sweet & Flirty are my all-time favourites; on the other hand, Bombshell did not wow me. So, there are many hits but a miss here or there too.
Eau So Party is a perfume from 2016. You probably remember this release due to the very flashy and sparkly packaging. The scent is super cute, exactly what you expect from Victoria’s Secret. You get mostly sugar and lime. It smells perfumey, and tropical, if you close both eyes, you sniff lime mojito.
It is Eau So Party somewhere over the rainbow, among palm trees on a beach. Not necessarily a lux resort but a friendly tropical island with kids and locals running around. You wear a chick boho dress and a sun hat. Your flip-flops are used and dirty. The atmosphere is great and love actually is all around.
Citrus and sugar. It is good for what it is. The fragrance does not have a strong base; therefore, longevity and projection are poor as anticipated. But I adore the scent anyway and I always want to have at least one Victoria’s Secret perfume in my collection. If you are a fan like me, and floral fruities are not your enemies, check Eau So Party out.
I am a big cheerleader of And Just Like That TV series and I think it would be fun to match perfumes to the main characters: Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda. I know that Samantha is not on the show anymore but let’s keep her here for the sake of this post. There is not much said about perfumes on the show so I presume that the Sex and the City characters are not fragrance fanatics and simply wear what is available and trendy. Sit back and enjoy my fragrance choices.
The main character Carrie represents endless romanticism, elegance and big city vibrations. Therefore, I think lively perfumes like Burberry Her or L’Imperatrice 3 by Dolce & Gabanna private line would do it for her. She is also confident and womanly and that could be covered by the one and only Delina by Parfums de Marly.
The next character Charlotte is ultra-feminine and cute hence I have Pour Femme by Dolce & Gabanna in store for her. In addition, she brings happiness to people around her and takes part in healthy activities like running thus Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna could be also a hit. Due to her affiliation to an upper class, I suggest she could also wear Gabrielle by Chanel.
Samantha is a woman with balls who enjoys attention from the opposite sex. Very Sexy by Victoria’s Secret ticks the box. Moreover, she is independent as hell which she can express by wearing Jil by Jil Sander. And lastly, she likes to spend her money and indulge in luxury. I cannot think of anything better than Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian for her.
Miranda is smart and practical. She is not going to enjoy anything too sweet or floral. Stella Tocca would be a good “pick me up” casual fragrance for her. She can also wear Chance by Chanel daily to work and White Patchouli by Tom Ford for lunches with the girls.
I have chosen three perfumes for each character based on their personality traits and I also wanted to have a price variety – from cheapies to luxury goods. Please note that by any means I do not claim that the characters wear these perfumes on the show, it is just for your entertainment.
Bombshell is a distinctive fruity floral containing different fruits like passionfruit, strawberry, pineapple, …The second layer consists mainly of white floral. Interestingly enough, I find this fragrance velvety or creamy. There is an element which refines the composition. I didn´t figure out what it is though, maybe the pineapple note. It’d need a very fine nose to define that feature exactly. Maybe you might be able to solve this puzzle. Good luck!
Bombshell is a sexy, appealing creamy-dreamy scent. I wouldn’t wear it on a regular basis, rather on special romantic occasions. 50/100
Hurray, a lot of berries! You can find blueberries, blackberries or cranberries in this liquid. They are accompanied by citrus fruit and sugar. I’m not happy to have sugar in a perfume but considering the amount of sour fruit inside, sugar is more than needed here. It is a nicely balanced combination after all.
I used to wear Sweet & Flirty on a daily basis; it stands out more during warm months. It made me feel cheerful, energised and fun. Such a “cute little” scent. So if you are not a fussy person and want to enjoy every single day like it was your last – happily and spontaneously, you will have a great time with Sweet & Flirty.
An easy to wear, playful fragrance for happy days. 80/100

This is the kind of sensual scent which would smell ridiculous in a formal environment but putting it into the right setting, it can make miracles. It is an “oriental spicy flower“, containing (strangely enough) cappuccino 🙂
Due to the fact that the lasting power is not the strongest, in the right time and at the right place, this Very Sexy will not be an overwhelming fragrance. It will rather be a finisher to a sexy little black dress or any other cute outfit.
Are you looking for a bold warm seductive scent and don’t mind reapplying? Very Sexy will gladly take this place. 40/100
