The modern Irresistible line of fragrances is incredible. The original Irresistible from 2020 and all its flankers are timeless perfections on the designer market. If this is what designer perfumery looks like in 2024, kudos to you master perfumers.
The scent opens fruity with tangy black currant. Then you get to rose, y-lang and iris. The combination creates a silky veil around the rose. It is romantic yet a tiny bit darker and sensual. We can find musk mallow in the base, so typical for Givenchy Irresistible fragrances. The musk is clean, fluffy and slightly sweetened.
The scent is like a pink little cloud floating gently in the blue sky. I even find it rounder and more complete than the original. But let’s come back to the ground. The perfume world is overloaded with rose perfumes for women; and therefore, Irresistible Very Floral is like a needle in a haystack. Gorgeous but does it have the wow instant gratification the general public is looking for? It is too subtle for that. And could they not come up with a better name? Very Floral, really? That caught my attention big time.
