Champaca is a soft citrus floral. Geza Schoen loves neroli, pink pepper, freesia and myrhh in his compositions. It is a theme that we smell all over again but not in a bad way. It is a precise well-done Ormonde Jayne signature.
Champaca is a creamy yellow floral; however, you do not need to be necessarily into florals to enjoy it. It has a fresh bitter asset which lifts the aroma and makes it genderless. Yes, if you are a man who is not afraid of wearing yellow flowers, you can wear Champaca and no one can blame you.
With that being said, Ormonde Jayne’s scents are easy to pull off yet stay unique and true to themselves. They convey effortlessly elegant and quiet style. Champaca is not a scent you go clubbing with but an important meeting at work can manage pretty well 🙂
