Lolita Lempicka is a French fashion designer. Her fragrance Sweet is a flanker of a super popular Lolita Lempicka perfume – the apple-shaped purple one with star anise and liquorice. I quite like the original Lolita Lempicka. It is a unique bottle and a unique scent with a fairy quality to it. Sweet with sour cherry and sugar on top is a fairly mass pleasing fragrance. It is sweet yet not so much as the sweetness is grounded with cacao, iris, musk and cashmere.
Sweet is also a gentle scent. Do not expect anything rich and heavy. It is a beautiful uplifting perfume. Cherry can sometimes give medicinal vibes reminiscent of cough syrups etecera. But not in here. It is a nicely done cherry. The staying power and projection are not amazing, but good enough for me to keep the scent. On top of that, the Floral Fruity Gourmand family is hardly ever disappointing.
