Opium Yves Saint Laurent

At first, I really liked it. I thought I finally found a great fragrance for night. Something that I could pull off. The scent is enchanting, balsamic, spicy and sweet. It lasts, my goodness. Only a small amount is necessary. But then I thought hmm, is this really for me? I’m not sure yet. I just thing it’s way too strong. It would come out better in winter, I reckon. It must take a bold personality to wear Opium.

Opium is a captivating scent, something you will remember. But be careful, an overdose could be social suicide 🙂 50/100

Mmmm, I smell fruits – berries in particular quite strongly, flowers and powder. It’s certainly sexy and romantic at the same time. There is something strange to it; something I’ve never smelled before. What is it? I looked at the notes on the internet and found that vinyl is there, right at the top. Interesting! It certainly makes the perfume unique enough to be someone’s signature. Personally, I cannot decide whether I like it or not but I do value the fact that it’s distinctive.

A sexy, romantic and timeless fragrance; but most importantly, unique. Are you up for something different? Give Parisienne a go. There won’t be any regrets for sure. 60/100
